Who Can Write

  • Verified clinicians only. Register, then add your professional registration number in My Account. We check it against your licensing council before your account is marked verified.
  • Dentists, doctors, pharmacists, nurses, allied health professionals and clinical researchers are all welcome.

What We Publish

  • Guideline summaries: what changed, what it means at chairside or bedside.
  • Clinical Q&A: one focused question, answered with evidence.
  • Materials and techniques: how and when to use them, with evidence, in brand-neutral terms.
  • Case-based learning: anonymised cases with clear teaching points.
  • Practice and AI: workflows, safety, documentation and technology in clinical settings.

Article Standards

  • Length: 600 to 2,000 words, with clear headings.
  • References: required. Number them in the order cited, mark citations in the text as [1], [2], and include a DOI or link where available. Prefer guidelines, systematic reviews and peer-reviewed studies.
  • Original work: your own writing. Anything quoted or adapted is referenced. Do not submit text you have published elsewhere unless you hold the rights.
  • Not promotional: use generic names. Mention a product only where it is clinically necessary, and keep claims balanced.
  • Declare conflicts of interest: employment, consultancy, sponsorship, speaker fees or product ownership. Your declaration is shown with the article.
  • AI tools: you may use them for drafting, but you are responsible for every fact and reference. Check each citation yourself.

Clinical Images

  • Up to 4 images per article (JPG, PNG or WEBP, 5 MB each), with captions.
  • You must have written patient consent for publication and the images must be fully anonymised: no faces (unless consented for that purpose), names, dates of birth, record numbers or metadata that identifies the patient.
  • Use only images you took or have the right to publish.

How Review Works

  1. You submit from My Account. Your article is saved as Pending Review.
  2. An automated pre-screen checks for patient data, promotional content, unsupported claims and reference problems. It advises the editor; it does not decide.
  3. The BossCE editor reads the article, may edit for clarity, length and style, and either publishes it or sends it back with a note.
  4. You are emailed either way. You can have up to 3 articles awaiting review at a time.

Rights and Credit

  • You keep the copyright. You grant BossCE a non-exclusive licence to publish, edit for clarity and length, and share the article, credited to you. The full contributor terms are in section 8 of our Terms of Use.
  • Your name, profession, country, bio and LinkedIn link appear with the article. Your email address and registration number are never shown.
  • To correct or withdraw a published article, email hi@bossce.com or use our Contact page.
