Key Points
- BossCE AI answers clinical questions from current guidelines, published evidence and the reviewed BossCE Library, and numbers every source so you can check each statement.
- You can attach the IFU, guideline or paper you are working from, and BossCE AI will answer from that document.
- Signed-in clinicians can suggest documents for the Library and share any answer to WhatsApp in one tap.
1. Ask a Clear Clinical Question
Open BossCE AI and type your question as you would ask a senior colleague. Better questions get better answers:
| Instead of | Try |
|---|---|
| “Blood thinners and extraction” | “Patient on apixaban needs a simple extraction: continue or interrupt?” |
| “Child with fever and rash” | “14-month-old, 5 days of fever, conjunctivitis and cracked lips: when should I suspect Kawasaki disease?” |
| “Best liner” | “Deep carious lesion close to the pulp in a vital molar: what does current evidence say about indirect pulp capping materials?” |
Name the condition, drug, procedure or material, and add the details that change the answer: age, medical history, tooth or site. For long, multi-part questions, ask one part at a time for the most detailed answers.
You can ask follow-up questions. BossCE AI remembers your last five exchanges in the same session. Click Clear Discussion to start a new topic.
2. Read the Sources, Not Just the Answer
Every answer ends with a numbered source list, and the numbers in the text, such as [1] or [2], show which source supports which statement. Guideline bodies, journals and universities are listed first.
- Check the key statements. Find the matching number in the source list and open it, especially before acting on a dose, threshold or recommendation.
- Watch the coverage note. If only part of an answer is linked to sources, BossCE AI says so under the answer. Treat the unlinked parts with more caution.
- “No Verified Sources Found” is deliberate. If BossCE AI cannot find guidelines or published evidence for a question, it does not answer from memory. Rephrase with the specific condition or drug, ask one part at a time, or upload the document you are working from.
Our User Guide explains the source numbers in more detail.
3. Use the BossCE Library
The BossCE Library is a reviewed collection of clinical guidelines and reference documents, including Ministry of Health Malaysia Clinical Practice Guidelines. Every document is checked before it is added.
- BossCE AI searches it automatically. When a Library document is relevant, the answer quotes it and lists it under the sources.
- Browse it directly. Filter by document type or search by title, then open the source or click Ask BossCE AI to ask a question about that document.
4. Upload the Document You Are Working From
Working from a specific product’s instructions for use (IFU), a local protocol or a new paper? Attach it to your question with the upload button. BossCE AI will answer from your document and tell you when a figure comes from it rather than from the literature.
- File types: PDF, Word (DOCX), TXT, and images (JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC).
- Limits: up to 5 files per session, 20 MB each.
- Privacy: uploaded files are deleted automatically within 48 hours.
Before uploading any clinical image, report or record, remove every patient identifier: names, NRIC or passport numbers, dates of birth, record numbers and faces.
5. Share a Useful Answer in One Tap
Found an answer your colleagues should see? Click Share This Answer under it and send it straight to WhatsApp, copy the link, or use your phone’s share menu. The link opens BossCE AI with the same question ready to ask, so your colleague can see the answer and its sources for themselves.
Clinical WhatsApp groups are where many practical questions get discussed. Sharing a sourced answer there is a quick way to settle a question with evidence rather than opinion.
6. Suggest a Document for the Library
If you rely on a guideline, IFU or open-access paper that other clinicians would find useful, suggest it for the Library.
- Sign in and go to My Account.
- Under Suggest a Document for the BossCE Library, upload a PDF, Word or TXT file of up to 25 MB, and add its title and document type.
- Confirm that it contains no patient information and that you have the right to share it.
Every suggestion is screened automatically and then reviewed by BossCE before it is added. We email you with the outcome.
